Inaugural Ohio Valley Grain Exchange event on June 2, 2023, “A Gathering in the Rye” hosted by Affinity Farms in New Haven, Kentucky – supported by the founding partners of the Initiative to Bring Rye Back to Kentucky: University of Kentucky, Kentucky Small Grain Growers Association, Walnut Grove Farms, Dendrifund, Brown-Forman, and Woodford Reserve. Rye farmers and value chain stakeholders met in a rye field to share observations, ideas, management strategies, and discussion on how the 2023 rye crop is looking and market development.
